Meeting called to order at 7:35 AM by Patty Mears

-Patty displayed new boards created showing Booster contributions to school

-Discussed Booster $500 contribution towards Fall Festival

Dara moved to have a sign noting Booster contribution, Casey seconded.

-Dara made a motion to approve $8,000 Booster contribution for a new sound system,

Debbie seconded the motion.

Treasurer Report - Casey Bunn

- distributed financial reports

-6/1/19-10/31/19 Income $61,227 and expenses $47,328

-10/31/19 assets $67,565 and liabilities $480

VP Lunch Report- Caroline Kwong

The lunch program is very successful, over 100 lunches per day on busy days, 70/day on slower days.

-above averages from last year

-40 volunteers are signed up to help including some from Dream City Church- always looking for more

-larger water bottles are now being served

-may add another day of a la carte dessert(Mondays or Fridays)

-currently no salad bar only option, but talking to JR Foods about that option

-parking spot drawing for volunteers, Mamiko Sugiyama first name drawn

-JR Foods donating food for teacher appreciation lunch 11/15, will solicit desserts from parents

will see if JR Foods has any promo items to put out at teacher lunch

VP Communications- Carlos Urcuyo

-new spirit wear is in and being distributed

-new initiative, step forward, being introduced to increase volunteerism

-still working with a few volunteers on newsletter

-discussed idea of requiring either volunteer hours or monetary contribution for those

families using the lunch program.

Secretary/Volunteer Report - Debbie Bernstein

-Winter formal 12/14 budget set at $4,000.00. Ticket price will be Booster $25, non-Booster $30 until December 6th, then price will be $35

-Carlos will handle check in at event and bring/set up photo backdrop

-Carlos will add to newsletter each week requesting volunteers

-Dara will reach out to senior committee to create name for event, photo backdrop and decorations

-Dara will come back to the board with cost for food
