HAPPY NEW YEAR TO OUR ENTIRE BASIS PHOENIX COMMUNITY!!
1. As we all get back into the swing of things, we want to share a few items regarding our 'Hot Lunch' program:
We have introduced a couple of lunch menu item changes. You can now buy a trip to the Salad Bar as a lunch option (which in addition to your typical fruit & veggies, includes items such as mini-bagels or turkey wraps).
It is a wonderful lunch option when maybe your student does not necessarily like the main lunch entry(ies) for that particular day. In addition, it is a bit cheaper :)
To kickoff the New Year, we are extending the Lunch Ordering deadline until 1p for this week!

We also want to encourage everyone to consider spending at least 1 lunch period with us in 2020!
2. As part of our community, you probably are aware that our school does not have a 'Hot Lunch' cafeteria/kitchen, and that us parents, with the support of our school administration, work to provide our students & staff with a catered 'Hot Lunch' option. This year, we have worked (and continue to work) to streamline the process. There is no heavy lifting (literally), no special food card is needed, and even lunch is provided for you (you can test the menu for yourself!). Sign up at: https://bit.ly/BPFirebirds
In addition, this year we are offering a free #BPBStepUp t-shirt as part of our new volunteer initiative for 2020! We just need you to log your hours on MT when you come in to help us out! Look for the MT menu item that says 'BPhx Volunteer Check-in' (or look for the icon below on the main MT page as well) on your phone when you come in and we will leave a t-shirt at the front office for you within a day or two! It is that simple!

3. FireBird Gear Update:
If you are interested in purchasing a Senior (2020) Class t-shirt, please let us know and if we get at least 10 intereted families, we will go ahead and have it re-ordered. You can also still order your other class thirts on MT!
Last week, we put the order in for our BPhx baseball cap. For those who have already ordered, they should be distributed throughout this week. You will be receiving an email when they are packaged and at the Front Office ready to go!
