Hello BP Parents!

Your BASIS Phoenix Boosters want to wish you and yours a Fantastic & Prosperous 2020!!

We are are also reaching out to you as we know most of you are beginning to plan your activities/goals for the New Year, and as such, we want to encourage you to join our #BPBStepUp campaign!

What is the purpose of the #BPBStepUp Campaign?

The #BPBStepUp campaign is a volunteering initiative that was designed to generate awareness as to what BP volunteers do around the school!  Please Join Us!!

Do I need to become a BPhx Booster to participate (Do I need to pay anything)?

Not at all!  We welcome all BP parents (even extended family)!

We need the most help with the following:

1. The Hot Lunch Program

The Hot Lunch program is run by the BPhx Boosters with the support of our wonderful administration.   Both, the Boosters & the BASIS Phoenix administration work hand-in-hand to coordinate and bring the Hot Lunch program to our students!  We strive to make it a win-win endeavor all around by making the program as smooth as possible for all.  However, we do need some help with volunteering.

Please take a minute to sign up as a lunch volunteer for January and beyond. We currently have many slots available in January. Please consider signing up for a few spots in the next few months!  It is not a demanding task at all (no lifting/serving food, just simply ensuring that kids get the right lunch type by checking students off as they pick up their hot lunches. It’s a very easy job, broken into 2 short shifts, and requires no health card. The calendar is wide open so you can sign up for shifts that work for your schedule.
Please help keep our hot lunch program alive by signing up here

2. Social Activities:

The Boosters have so far coordinated several social activitites throughout the school year.  We organized a bowling outing, a SkyZone outing, and the 2019 High School Winter Formal.  We are now trying to organize more activities for 2020.  We are currently in process of puting together a group of parents to help us coordinate a Middle School Dance!  The Glass house is currently available for January 31, 6-9pm.  We need a group of parents that can coordinate chaperoning, supervise DJ/dance activities.  Please be on the lookout for a signup to help!

3. Concessions

We have been looking at ways to increase attendance & participation at all of our extra-curricular activities (sports and other extra-curriculars).  We believe that by developing a school-wide concession strategy we can not only increase participation at all of our school events, but also develop a way for more members of our BP community to interact.  We envision that  with the help of our student-run service organizations/clubs, and our dedicated parents, we can grow a program that not only provides various concessions (drinks, snacks, school gear, etc), but also a vehicle for growing awareness and attendance to our various extra-curricular events!  If you can help us in this area, contact Tracie Campbell (traciecampbell@yahoo.com) if you are able to help!
